About Lexington Girls Softball
Lexington Girls Softball (LGS) is a non-profit recreational softball league serving girls in Lexington County, South Carolina. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where players of all skill levels can learn the game of softball, build confidence, and develop both on and off the field.
LGS is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of softball while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and personal growth. We believe recreation softball should be just that — recreational — offering competitive play while keeping the focus on development, enjoyment, and positive experiences for players and families alike.
We offer programs for girls ages 6U through 16U, with age-appropriate instruction and league structures designed to promote fair play and skill progression. Our seasons include both Spring and Fall play, with opportunities for clinics, league events, and end-of-season tournaments.
Lexington Girls Softball is proud to be supported by a committed group of volunteer board members, coaches, and families who work together to keep the league running smoothly. As a volunteer-driven organization, LGS depends on community involvement to continue providing quality programming for our players.
Most games are played at our home complex located at 1159 Nazareth Road, Lexington, SC, with occasional games at other Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission facilities. LGS operates in partnership with Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission and follows all county policies, safety guidelines, and youth sports standards.
Above all, Lexington Girls Softball is about creating memories, fostering friendships, and helping young athletes grow — not just as softball players, but as confident, respectful individuals.
We are proud of our league’s history, grateful for our families and volunteers, and excited for the future of Lexington Girls Softball.
